What is Leukemia?

Leukemia is the type of cancer which is caused when the number of white blood cells grows out uncontrollably. White blood cells are extremely essential for the proper functioning and strength of the immune system however these excess WBC’s do not support or partake in this process. There they do not contribute to fight against the viruses, bacteria, etc. On top of that, these white blood cells grow and divide uncontrollably and finally end up taking over the good cells.
